Yes, forever. It's ad-supported, and it includes a daily AI Mechanic chat allowance — no card required. The paid tiers remove ads and unlock the tools you'll actually use if you turn wrenches regularly.
Is the yearly discount real?
Yes. Yearly billing works out to roughly two months free (~17% off) on DIY, MECHANIC, and AUTOSHOP — and even more (~30% off) on SHOP MANAGER. One footnote: SHOP MANAGER's $2,099.99 yearly price is web-only — Apple and Google cap yearly subscriptions around $999.
How does the Shop plan work for a team?
One AUTOSHOP account covers your shop's shared devices — bay tablets, the service desk, the shop phone. Named team seats and roles come with SHOP MANAGER ($249.99/mo).
What payment methods do you accept?
Billing runs through the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe on the web. All major cards supported, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription refunds are handled by the store you subscribed through (Apple, Google, or Stripe on web). If you're unhappy, email support@mechai.app and we'll make it right.
