Welcome to the Wrench Report

The Wrench Report is the MECH AI blog. It’s for two kinds of readers:

1. The DIYer who wants honest answers about their car — not a forum thread, not a 47-minute video, not a sales pitch.
2. The pro who wants a faster way to look up what they already mostly know, plus a credible second opinion when something gets weird.

We’ll write about both audiences in roughly the same proportion they show up in the app. Expect:

• TSB deep dives — what a manufacturer service bulletin actually means, in plain English, with the fix.
• “What that noise is” — a recurring series mapping common symptoms to common causes on common cars.
• Cost guides — what a job should cost at a shop, and what it costs to do yourself.
• Tools we like — practical reviews of the gear that actually saves time in the bay or driveway.

We’ll also occasionally talk about the product itself — what we’re building, why, and what’s on the roadmap. Those posts will be tagged so you can ignore them if you’re here for the cars.
